Liposuction & Body Sculpting
Advanced, high-definition fat extraction designed to meticulously contour specific anatomical zones and reveal your underlying muscular architecture.
What Is High-Definition Liposuction?
Liposuction is not a weight-loss tool; it is the ultimate architectural sculpting procedure. Even at peak physical fitness, genetics and hormones dictate where the body stubbornly stores localized fat—often obscuring the abdominal muscles, widening the flanks, or hiding the jawline.
Through advanced, minimally invasive extraction techniques, Dr. Gandhi removes these specific fat deposits while strategically leaving micro-layers in other areas. This 360-degree approach doesn't just make the body smaller; it creates highlights, shadows, and contours, forging an athletic, perfectly proportioned silhouette.

What Concerns Does Liposuction Address?
- 01Stubborn fat deposits unresponsive to strict diet and exercise
- 02Lack of muscular definition in the abdomen, flanks, or back
- 03Disproportionate contours (e.g., heavy thighs on a slender upper frame)
- 04Submental fullness (double chin) obscuring the jawline
- 05Lipomastia (excess fatty tissue in the male chest)
- 06Desire for targeted fat transfer (e.g., Brazilian Butt Lift or breast volumization)
Non-Invasive Fat Freezing vs. Surgical Liposuction
Non-invasive 'fat freezing' treatments (like CoolSculpting) are heavily marketed, but they are fundamentally blind procedures. They cannot shape or contour; they simply destroy a random percentage of fat in the shape of the applicator head, often leading to uneven, blocky results.
Surgical liposuction is a dynamic, 3D sculpting procedure. Dr. Gandhi has direct artistic control over extraction, allowing deliberate contour refinement in real time. A single liposuction session can deliver dramatic, permanent, and smooth results that non-invasive machines cannot reliably replicate.

The Dr. Gandhi Difference
The mark of amateur liposuction is a flat, deflated, or 'wavy' appearance caused by indiscriminate fat removal. True body contouring is akin to sculpting marble—the mastery lies as much in the fat that is left behind as the fat that is removed.
Dr. Gandhi uses advanced liposuction planning with targeted cannula control, precise layer-by-layer extraction, and meticulous contour feathering. This approach helps preserve smooth transitions, minimize trauma, and deliver sharp yet natural muscular definition across the abdomen, flanks, and waist.
Dr. Gandhi's Insider Tip
"We don't look at the body in two dimensions. We treat the torso as a cylinder. By aggressively contouring the flanks and the lower back at the same time as the abdomen, we create an optical illusion that makes the waist look even smaller and the buttocks more projected."
— Dr. Giriraj Gandhi
High-Definition Liposculpture
A precision contouring approach for athletic patients seeking etching. Fat is removed selectively over and around muscle groups while preserving smooth connective transitions, creating natural depth and definition.
Power-Assisted Liposuction (PAL)
Utilizes a rapidly vibrating cannula to break up dense, fibrous fat deposits (such as those in the back or male chest) more efficiently, allowing for smoother removal with less trauma to the surrounding tissues.
Submental (Chin & Neck) Micro-Liposuction
Involves ultra-fine, delicate cannulas to meticulously remove fat from under the chin and along the jawline, resulting in a razor-sharp facial profile through an incision the size of a pinhead.
Does the fat grow back?
No. The fat cells removed during liposuction are permanently eliminated and do not regenerate. However, if you gain a significant amount of weight post-surgery, the remaining fat cells in your body will expand, which can alter your new contours.
Will I have loose skin after the fat is removed?
This depends entirely on your skin's natural elasticity. Liposuction improves contour, but skin retraction varies from patient to patient. If your skin is heavily stretch-marked or inelastic, Dr. Gandhi may advise combining liposuction with an excisional procedure (like a tummy tuck) to achieve a tighter final result.
Can the removed fat be used elsewhere?
Absolutely. Fat grafting is highly common. The purified fat extracted from your abdomen or flanks can be meticulously injected into the breasts, buttocks, or face to restore youthful volume naturally, without the use of synthetic implants.
Phase 1: Goal Weight Optimization
Liposuction yields the most spectacular results on patients who are at or very near their ideal body weight. Focus on achieving your baseline weight through a stable diet and exercise routine prior to your consultation.
Phase 2: Hydration and Supplement Review
Begin aggressively hydrating two weeks before surgery. You must cease all fish oils, vitamin E, aspirin, and green tea extracts, as these are natural blood thinners that will dramatically increase post-operative bruising.
Phase 3: Garment Fitting
Our clinic will measure you for highly specific, medical-grade compression garments. You will wake up from surgery wearing these garments to immediately begin the skin-tightening process.
The First 72 Hours
Expect significant fluid drainage from the tiny incision sites; this is completely normal and intentional to reduce swelling. You will feel bruised and sore, like you've done an intense workout. Rest and constant hydration are mandatory.
Weeks 1 to 3: The Lymphatic Phase
You will begin specialized post-operative lymphatic drainage massages at our clinic. These specialized massages push out trapped fluids, drastically reduce swelling, and prevent the formation of hard scar tissue (fibrosis) beneath the skin. You must wear your compression garment 24/7.
Months 2 to 6: Final Sculpting
At the 6-week mark, you can resume heavy lifting and intense core workouts. As the deep structural swelling resolves over the following months, the skin will fully shrink-wrap around your muscles, revealing your crisp, permanent results.
